About Private Yoga
What is it?
As well as poses to stretch and strengthen specific areas of your body, these sessions also include breathing and relaxation techniques that will help tackle your lifestyle off the mat too. We offer private sessions so you can practice and feel the physical and mental benefits of Yoga. Yoga was traditionally taught one-on-one. Whether it's a weekly necessity or an ad hoc indulgence, it’s the perfect way to address your personal needs and intentions, and really make your practice work for you!
It is great for:
- Improving strength, balance and flexibility - Can ease pain and improve mobility - Great for relaxation - Can increase energy and brighten mood - Managing stress - Promotes self-care
Will it help me?
This service can be extremely constructive and beneficial. It provides a tailor-made session in which you are able to ask questions, address your own specific concerns, enhance your own personal practice, utilise a wide range of Yoga poses and receive specialised support.
Pregnancy Yoga
From 14 weeks pregnant yoga can play a very important role in pregnancy. “Generally, pregnant mums who do yoga exercises appear healthier, both in mind and body. Their bodies are more flexible, which enables them to adapt to various positions when in labour and the ligaments are more elastic, which in turn can help to reduce labour pain.” - Independent midwife Manijeh Nedas
What happens in a session?
You will be able to discuss what it is you would like to achieve within your sessions, tuning in to what your body needs.
You will be given different poses to stretch and strengthen specific areas of your body that need it. This also includes breathing and relaxation techniques that will help tackle your lifestyle off the mat too.
