Exciting Osteopathy Updates!

Today we have some very exciting updates to share in regards to our popular Osteopathy service!

We’re going to be discussing what you can now expect from this service, with our main update being that Rhys has recently completed his Bachelors degree in Osteopathy. Plus, what better day to share these updates with you all than World Osteopathy Day - this Saturday 22nd June.

There are lots of things to look forward to in regards to this popular service, and many more updates to come from our clinic!

World Osteopathy Day

The International Osteopathic Association declared June 22nd as World Osteopathy Day, making it an internationally recognised day in countries across the world. In line with this annual awareness day, we’re taking the opportunity to go ahead and share more about what this service entails, and the benefits you can expect.

Osteopathy was founded by an American physicist and surgeon, Dr Andrew Taylor Still, in 1874. It was founded upon the key concerns of both mental and physical disease, and restoring proper function and structure of the body. Dr Andrew Taylor Still was one of the first doctors to promote preventive medicine, focusing on treating the disease rather than just the symptoms.

Osteopathy has developed into the modern age, to focus on musculoskeletal disorders, and working alongside other healthcare professionals to help manage a wide variety of patients’ health.

Lastly, did you know that Osteopathy is the very first service we offered here at Balance 360? How exciting to see how far the clinic has come along!

Congratulations Rhys!

We also want to take the opportunity to congratulate Rhys, on the completion of his Bachelor’s degree in Osteopathy!

All his continuous hard work has paid off, and we’re excited to see how he is going to develop and progress here at the clinic. Soon you can expect to book in with Rhys as a registered Osteopath - however, we’ll announce when he has received his certification later on in the year.

This leads us on to what this service is all about at Balance 360.
